On file there was news about the dispute between Deus and his promoter, a dispute which, according to newspaper reports, was due to Deus's dissatisfaction with the fight organized by his promoter. At the end of the story it was stated that Deus had broken the deal with the promoter and joined another promoter who seemed to have more developmental vision for Deus than his previous promoter who delivered him to the military.
